Nike Shox running shoes are good?

I wonder if Nike Shox are good walking shoes. I have now I use on my bike spin elliptical trainer and weights, but are they good for the race I ordered one of these gizmo ipod sport that is within the sole of the shoe Nike + trainers. I do not like the look of traditional running shoes like Asics

The main thing you need to do is go for a couple runs in your shox. Are you comfortable? Thats what really matters. Here's what I think so: It really depends on the model of shox. The are all so different. Most Shox are considered a "shoe capital" (just for looks, I guess) The shox columns are awkward and not conducive not a very smooth race. Some models (like a pair I have) but are very good for racing. These columns are shox a lot shorter than the traditional shox research, which for a comfortable run.
