What will happen if I keep driving with a bad throw out bearing/clutch?

I have a 95 s10, I4, 5 spd, 4x2. I think my throw out bearing it going out. The motor has recently been rebuild and the clutch pedal has been letting out very late. It has gotten worse over a month, not only is the clutch letting out late now but it has also developed this loud knock/grinding noise coming from the transmission. It gets progressivly louder as I drive for longer periods of time and after the truck completely warms up. The clutch itself is in good shape but I am planning on replacing the clutch kit, new flywheel and the master clutch cylinder alltogether. Likely I live only a few short miles from work so I have been driving like this for 2 weeks now but my question is how much longer will my trans survive and will I cause any further damage driving like this? What is my worse case scenario? can the trans completely give out? The truck studders on hard acceleration and sort of "skips a beat" Could it be something elso from what I pointed out or is that it?

worst case is you'll be walking to work, and have a towing bill.
