Need expert bike! What type of working wheels on my bike is a Mongoose XR-350 Mountain Bike?

I'm worried about compatibility wheelset with some available online but I want the best possible conditions for the price. My bike has V brakes on the bike, she says her Shimano fitted to the rear of the bike. So I'm assuming it's a Shimano hub, the rear sprocket or whatever it is called has seven wheels different sized teeth, and the bike is a 15 overall speed. So I was wondering what I should look for new wheelset would be compatible for less $ 150 under a hundered hope. So what tools are needed to remove the old wheel hub. Thank you a bunch in advance!
