I need help deciding what to do with cycling items bid and purchased on ebay.?

I just got into cycling and got my first bike yesterday. I rode it a little but it requires clipless peddals. So I needed shoes. I went to the REI, but the good sidis were to expensive and the other shoes didnt fit. I decided to get shoes off of ebay. I was looking and bid on a few pair of shoes wich I thought would increase the liklihood of getting a pair of shoes. I won a pair of shoes which are sidis, I dont know wich kind for 155 including shiping. Then I was still the the leading bider in the other catagory. The other shoes are teh dominator 5s. I dont know what to do if I win both. I could retract my bid, Or I could win the shoes and see wich fit better and trie to sell the other shoes. Or I could Just keep both. I dont know what to do please help. Also I fit a 44, but I have to tighten the straps all the way. The sidi dominator 5s are 43.5 so I dont know if they will even fit. Is it worth the risk buying both shoes. Also If I do I may loose money because of shipping.

First, let's talk about Cycling Shoes. Cycling shoes are notoriously hard to buy. Different company's' shoes fit differently and all have different characteristics. It is best to go to a store and try them on first. Even if you buy them elsewhere, there is no substitute for physically trying on the shoes.

Now let's discuss your EBay situation. You need to be a more responsible shopper. You had indicated that you went to the store and did not like the prices. However then you went to EBay and bid on shoes you know nothing about. Why did you like those more than the models in the store? You didn't know the right size or model. You should not have bid on these auctions if you were not 100% sure that they were what you wanted. You may be stuck with two shoes here.
