Campagnolo Campy Record

Can I use a Campagnolo SRAM Red crankset with the chain and rear derailleur?

My bike is complete with SRAM Red components. I SRAM Red will replace the crank with a Campagnolo Record crank due to differences in length of crank arm. The teeth on the rings of chain Campy Record compatible with SRAM chain? Any comments are appreciated.

They should be fairly consistent. I am not a mechanic so I do can not say for sure. As a rule made by the chains of different companies and different transmissions vary in their width, but the space between the rollers should be the same. If you are comfortable with your own key work I'll try the swap and drive around and listen while you are doing. Everything should be smooth and silent and changes must be smooth. I will say that nowadays, Shimano, SRAM and Campy make parts specifically to work together as a whole. They really do not want people mix between manufacturers. I'm sure it would be cheaper for you to put the crank on Campy, since you already have, rather than buying a new SRAM. I say give it a try.
