Eggbeaters and tricycles?

Hello,

I'm looking at going clipless on my adult recumbent trike (A Sun EZ-3).

Eggbeaters were recommended. And, after looking at the Pedals on thier site, I'm interested in the "Candy" pedals.

Are there any trikers here who've gone clipless?

I've been clipless for the last 15 to 17 years but I ride the tadpole style trikes and High racers. I use the Shimano Pd-m770 Deore Xt Pedals, I tried those candies and wasn't at all happy with the way the felt.
If I were you I'd be looking for a large platform which would enhance your stability and something with an adjustable release tension lets you fine-tune your entry and exit to suit your riding style, something like the Shimano PD-324 SPD system with the convenience of a platform design. That would give you the best of both worlds and it's a good pedal for a recreational rider and would be all you would need on an EZ-3 Delta trike.
Just my opinion.
